Simple pleasures – Wordwatercolorgroup challenge -part 2

watercolorgroupHello everyone and welcome back to my blog.

In the past week I took part to this very interesting challenge by the worldwatercolorgroup of doodlewash and I find this very inspiring because of the topic, simple pleasures.I’ve already wrote about this, last week, in this post World watercolor group – September challenge – 30 simple pleasures – part 1.

What I really liked were the days two and four (Chocolate melting in your mouth and Hot cocoa and whipped cream). The idea in my mind of melting chocolate and the cream on the hot cocoa made me hungry and glutton. Maybe this is because for a while I will not eat/drink chocolate and coffee (…sigh, I love coffee, but my gut need a rest) since I’m trying to follow the AIP (Autoimmune protocol) to heal some allergies. Just the day before I draw the Hot cocoa whit whipped cream I had my last hot cocoa for a while, so I had the memory of this warm creamy cacao still very well impregnated in my mind (and in my mouth too). For those who are guessing: I substituted it with carob powder, which I didn’t know bevore (well my mother told me I drunk it when I was a child, but I can’t remember) and now I really love it: it tastes great, it’s healthy and it costs as much as cacao powder.

Ok, I’m going off topic, but I think it’s important and maybe interesting for you to know why I gave so much emphasis to this theme and why it was for me so inspiring. I think it’s always interesting to know the background.

The other topics I did were “curling up with a book” and “new art supplies”.

Thanks for reading, I hope you enjoyed it. Feel free to leave a comment!

See you soon,

your Elisa
